Controller Testing

Trigger Settings
A key part of optimizing your analog controls is setting the deadzone and variable range for each trigger. With the Gamer HQ app, you can customize each trigger independently to match your preferred playstyle or the demands of different game genres. Set the activation point (when the trigger starts responding) and the maximum input point (when it hits 100% input).
You can:
- Add a deadzone to prevent accidental activation when resting your finger on the trigger.
- Compress the trigger range to reach full input faster.
- Use full range for more precise control.
Whether you want a hair-trigger response or a full-range pull, you can fine-tune each trigger independently—or use one of three quick presets (T1, T2, T3) to switch between short, medium, and full throws.
Audio Settings
Customize your in-game audio experience. Gamer HQ lets you:
- Adjust output and mic input levels
- Balance game-chat volume balance
- Maintain settings using a controller volume dial
RGB Lighting
For controllers with Lumectra™ or Spectra™, customize the RGB lighting easily with the Gamer HQ. Instead of cycling through color or mode settings by pressing buttons on your controller, you can:
- Select your color from the on-screen color palette
- Select the lighting mode with a dropdown menu
- Adjust the brightness with a slider bar
- Select zones with tabbed navigation
Button Remapping
Reassign any button command to any other button on the controller, including the Advanced Gaming Buttons. You can quickly restore all button assignments to default when you want to use the standard button layout.
Thumbstick Settings
This tool allows you to adjust the inactive inner area (deadzone) and the full-power perimeter for each analog stick. As you make changes, a visual display shows the variable range (the portion of stick movement between 1% and 99% input) so you can see the changes in real time.
You can also:
- Invert the X and Y axes independently for each stick
- Use a sync button to apply changes from one thumbstick to the other
- Restore settings to the last saved configuration or reset to factory defaults
