LS50X Mic Cuts Out or Sounds Muffled in Discord

ORDER HELP  SUBMIT A REQUEST

The LS50X features a mic filter feature that removes background noises and echos.  Discord also has a similar feature.  If both the LS50X mic filter is enabled and the Discord filters are enabled, they will conflict and cause the mic audio to cut out or sound muffled.  To resolve this you can:

 

  1. Disable the mic filter on the LS50X by double clicking the left earcup button and holding it down on the second click.  Hold the button until you hear "Mic Filter Off."
  2. Disable the Echo Cancellation and Noise Reduction in the Discord Voice & Video Settings menu under Voice Processing:
