LS FAQs: Microphone not working in Windows 10

ORDER HELP  SUBMIT A REQUEST

In April 2018 Microsoft released an update to Windows 10.  This update includes new privacy settings that disable the microphone access to apps by default.  In order to use your LucidSound (or any) headset with Windows 10, you'll need to allow microphone access for the application you're using.

How to control which apps can use the microphone

  1. Go to Start , then select Settings > Privacy > Microphone.
  2. Choose your preferred setting for Allow apps to access your microphone.
  3. Under Choose which apps can access your microphone, turn on or off the individual settings for apps and services.
