Problem: My controller will not power on.
Confirm that the controller is fully charged. Plug it in to recharge as needed. You can check the battery status in the upper-right corner of the Xbox Series X|S dashboard home screen. A battery icon will display charge levels in 25% increments. When the controller reaches 25% or lower, the battery indicator LED on the top of the controller will flash red. If this occurs, charge the controller using the supplied USB cable connected to a powered USB port on your console or device.
Problem: I don't see my controller listed in my PC's Bluetooth® or device settings.
Press and hold the SYNC button on the bottom of the controller for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode (the LED will flash rapidly).
Problem: My controller is not connected to my 2.4GHz wireless adapter.
    1. Press and hold the SYNC button on the top of the controller for 3 seconds (LED ring will flash rapidly).
    2. Ensure the 2.4GHz wireless adapter is plugged into your console or PC USB port.
    3. Press and hold the SYNC button on the adapter.
    4. LEDs will flash several times, then turn solid white when paired successfully.
Problem: My wireless controller is not paired.
    1. Confirm that the battery is charged by connecting the USB‑C® cable.
    2. Ensure you are following the correct wireless pairing process.
    3. Insert a paper clip into the Reset Hole to reset the controller to factory settings. After resetting, re‑pair the controller using the steps above.
Problem: After a console update or waking the console from sleep mode, my controller won't reconnect wirelessly.
    1. Press and hold the Xbox Series X|S Guide button to wake up the controller. The LED ring will flash while searching for the USB wireless adapter. After 3–5 seconds, it should now be reconnected.
    2. If the adapter is plugged in and the controller still won't connect, remove and reinsert the wireless adapter, then press and hold the Xbox Series X|S Guide button for 2–3 seconds.
    3. If still unable to connect, re‑pair the controller by holding SYNC on both controller and adapter until LEDs turn solid white. Low battery may also prevent reconnection; if LED flashes red, charge the controller.
Problem: How long does it take to charge my controller?
Estimated charging time is 3 hours.
