Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10/11 PCs, USB audio devices, and Bluetooth® compatible devices.
No firmware update is required before first use. LucidSound™ headsets generally ship with finalized firmware and are ready to use out of the box. If a firmware update becomes available in the future, clear instructions will be posted on the [LucidSound Support page]
For the wireless USB adapter, set the wireless USB adapter mode switch to “XBOX” for XBOX consoles or “PC” for all other devices. Then plug in the wireless USB adapter into your device and then power on the headset. The headset will announce “Gaming Connected” once paired.
For Bluetooth, power on the headset and then hold the power button down for 5 seconds to place the headset in Bluetooth pairing mode. On your device, go into Bluetooth settings, and select LS500X.
For detailed instructions, including how to re-pair the wireless USB adapter, please see the SETUP sections of the user manual.
Depending on your setup, both connection modes will work well. For low latency, the wireless USB adapter is recommended, while if your device doesn’t support USB audio then Bluetooth will work better.
Up to 50 hours in wireless mode or up to 70 hours in Bluetooth mode on a single charge.
Connect the included cable to your console/device and the USB-C end to the headset. The LED pulses orange while charging and turns off when fully charged if the headset is off, or returns to its previous state if on.
Fully charges in approximately 2 5 hours.
Double press the left earcup button while the headset is on to check the battery level. The headset will play a series of beeps to indicate the battery level.
3 beeps = battery level is high
2 beeps = battery level is medium
1 beep = battery level low
This means that the battery is low and needs to be charged.
Please refer to the charts below for the full breakdown of the controls per mode. These are also listed in the user manual.
