The Anakin and Yoda Clone Wars: Light-Up Lightsabers for Wii
- Q: I put the Wii™ remote into the handle, but my Lightsaber doesn't seem to work with the game.
- A: Try one of these two solutions:
- Complete any game set-up steps with the remote outside of the Lightsaber handle. Once the gameplay includes a "duel with lightsabers" section, just insert the remote in the handle and play!
- You may need to adjust the settings on your Wii™. Enter the Wii™ Options Menu and choose Wii™ Settings, then select Sensor Bar and then Sensitivity. Push the "+" button until it is on the highest sensitivity level. Make sure you have your sensor bar correctly set to "above" or "below" the screen in the Sensor Bar Position Menu.
- Q: My Lightsaber™ doesn't light up.
- A: The light-up feature uses 2 AAA batteries, which are not included. To install the batteries, use a small Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws in the battery compartment door on the back of the handle. Insert 2 AAA batteries. Replace the cover, replace the screws, turn the switch to ON, and see the light!
- Q: I put the two pieces of my Lightsaber™ together, but now I can't get them apart.
- A: This product uses the POWER A "Twist and Lock" mechanism for safety and security. To separate the pieces, hold onto the upper part of the handle (near the light on/off switch) with your left hand. With your right hand, put your thumb on the front of the rotating ring and wrap your forefinger around the back. Gently pull down on the ring and rotate to the left. With your left hand gently pull the blade away from the handle. To reconnect, simply push the two pieces together until you hear a click – this engages the secure "Twist and Lock" feature again.
- Q: What games can I use these with?
- A: Although POWER A Light-Up Lightsabers can be used with a wide variety of games, they work best with Star Wars® The Clone Wars™: Lightsaber Duels™ (launched 11/08) and Star Wars® The Clone Wars™: Republic Heroes™ (launched 10//09).

PlayStation®
- Q: Were the POWER A Pro Series controllers affected by the PS3 3.5 firmware update?
- A: Sony recently updated the PS3 firmware to version 3.50, which - according to several media outlets - has caused issues with some third-party controllers because they utilize the PS3 USB ports. We have thoroughly tested our Pro Series controllers for PS3 and have found that even with the PS3 firmware update, POWER A controllers still function perfectly during gameplay. The only effect of the firmware update is that the 'Player Indicator' lights no longer show the player number assigned to the controller, but instead light up Player 1 and 2 simultaneously. Players can still tell which player number they were assigned by pressing the "Home" button and checking the information at the top of the screen. For more information, please contact customer service at support@powera.com or 888-624-4327.
